This letter can only be sent by email or put on our website, so we would ask you to pass on any information here to any of your neighbours who may not have the facility to see it.

 

Firstly I would like to thank all of you who have paid the Management charges so promptly. We are fully aware that there are those amongst us who are having a difficult time financially, as well as socially, at the moment and we will take that into account until this situation is resolved.

 

The office is still open and members of staff are working to cover the basic requirements from 9am to midday (Mon to Fri except Bank Holidays).

 

Now for those of you who are in need of a treat and are missing your weekly Friday Teas here at the club, Jakki and Harry are starting a Friday Take Out Service with Free Delivery from 5.30pm to 7.30pm starting this week 8th May.

 

There will be a limited menu of;

 

Fish, chips and mushy peas- £7.00

Burger (with/without Cheese) and chips -£7.00

 

And for children;

Fish bites and chips - £3.00

Nuggets and Chips - £3.00

 

Time slots are available and pre-orders are advisable.  (077025 99082) 

There will be no delivery charge, but please put payment into an envelope (cash only) on delivery.

Hello to all Residents.

As the Office Manager of the Ladybridge club, I am writing to update all those who gave us your email address, on what is going on there during this strange, unprecedented time.

The Trustees, who normally would be in the club overseeing procedures on a daily basis, are keeping in touch now by phone/video link with those who are still working very much reduced hours to keep the business  going.

I would like to thank them for their continued diligence, and would also remind you all that the Trustees are volunteers and I have seen first-hand the anguish that has been caused to them trying to find solutions to the problems which have arisen because of this pandemic. It is not easy attempting to reconcile their duties as employers with their responsibilities to you the home-owners who have elected them to look after their interests when no-one has ever encountered a situation like this so they have no similar experiences to fall back on. As an ex-Trustee / Chair, I know and see just what they are going through.

The Trustees have taken on board all the advice that has been available from the Government, the Local Council and our own Accountants (who have been fantastic). We have claimed all the financial help that is available which has relieved the pressure considerably, particularly in protecting our super, loyal, young staff when we had no work to offer them for the time being.

As you will be aware from recent news-letters and your levy statement, we were in the process of changing our bank as all this “kicked off”. If you have ever done this with a personal account you will know it is not the easiest of processes but believe me doing it for a business – even a small one like ours – was a night-mare! But, we just about got it done as we were preparing the statements so were able to include the new details. 

THEN THE PANDEMIC STRUCK!!

Just as we got the statements prepared and delivered we were told that the business had to close. Not the best of timing but most of you realised that it was nobody’s fault and a fair number of you have paid your Management charges in full and for that I thank you. It makes the office work so much less stressful knowing that we remain financially viable.

I am sure that, as the situation resolves itself, there will be a full financial reckoning and adjustments made at the end of the year for next year’s charges.

On behalf of the Trustees (and Jakki and myself – who have to answer your questions) I would ask you to be patient and we will make sure it all resolves itself fairly when things get back to normal again.

Residents Bar - Squash - Badminton - Function Room Hire - Large Screen Televisions

 Hello Everyone 

Following the latest Government instructions, the Club bar and sports facilities will close for last orders tonight the 20th March until further notice.

 The office will be manned from 09.00am until 12.00pm for essential Club business work.

 We would ask wherever possible that Levy payments are made directly to our Bank, by BACS transfer (new details of our Santander Account are on the statement you will receive in the next day or too).

 Card payment can be made over the telephone  485 1188 Monday to Friday on the above hours.

 We hope that this situation will not last too long and we will keep you updated by email.

 Think of your neighbours and keep safe everyone.

The club has 3 function rooms that are available to hire all year round, The Residents Suite, which can cater for up to 80 guests, The Twining Brook Suite which can cater for up to 60 guests and the Edenbridge Suite which can cater for up to 200 guests. Whether it be a birthday, bereavement or other celebrations or even a christening, maybe even a simple meeting. PLEASE NOTE : WE DO NOT ACCEPT BOOKINGS FOR 18TH BIRTHDAY FUNCTIONS

We have our own in house catering service, from our 5* rated kitchen, offering regular Friday Tea's with a varied menu (including Children's) at reasonable rates, we would be more than pleased to give you a quote for any catering needs you may require.
